Greenwich park is a great place to look down London city skyline along with white buildings of Queen’s House.
Start with little Blackheath downtown walk towards Greenwich Park Car and arrive right at the top of the park next to the famouse Royal Observatory Greenwich. Have some picnic time then walk down to the Queen’s House for a nice free Queen’s little palace walking tour. Make sure to see the Queen Elizabeth portrait painting and the beautiful golden wallpaper in the main hall. Now there’s great twin building structures in front of the Queen’s House so make sure you walk around and stop by the gorgeous Chapel.
It’s time to enjoy time in Greenwich village. There’s food, drinks, tourists, great atmosphere and yes there’s big ship used to bring tea from asia.
If any energy left, walk through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel to the Isle of Dogs; modern well designed city buildings built around Millwall Dock waterway. I specifically wanted to check out Sea Lanes Canary Wharf, the outdoor swimming pool.
